    There Is also another variant to out-sourcing the DPO function. This is to out-source where specific expertise is required. I am Project Editor of the European standard EN 16571, which defines a PIA process for RFID applications from contactless smart cards to longer range protocols. It deals with privacy risks based on the technology and not guesswork. EN 16571 particularly addresses Article 35 and 25, but takes account of other articles.
