I am so sorry this has happened to you. Unfortunately, this is not surprising. Disappointing, and even frustrating, but not surprising. LinkedIn, as well as all of the Social Media networking sites, will continue to make these changes at will as they find they fit, or not, with their current and future business plans. It makes it even more critical to have a home base of our own blog, downloaded results from off-site polling tools and a diverse communications plan as these changes will continue. I love Social Media, and will continue to teach lawyers and firms how to use and integrate them into existing marketing plans, but I will also continue to counsel that caution be used because of exactly what you have found.
