    I‘d have to agree with the prior comment. Firms that have CIOs who are not involved in the budget process clearly do not have real CIOs (whether it‘s the fault of the person in that position or, just as likely, the managing partner who doesn‘t understand how to run a proper business).

    what an outrageous article. Where are these "CIO‘s" who do not participate in budget planning? Show me so I can demote them to "chief mechanic of Windows" or "helpdesk guy with too-high-a-salary".
