    Great read! To be honest, as a newcomer to the industry, it is surprising to me that analytics are not utilized more frequently in every region when the review is likely the most time-consuming and expensive portion of litigation. Ipro offers free analytics with the staple product Eclipse, including email threading, conceptual clustering, categorization, and near-duplicate identification.

    Great to see such a high percentage of users focusing on analytics. By far the most expensive and time consuming process for e-discovery and legal review is the human factor. Doesn‘t matter how fast we return a search result or how many cloud scale processors we add. By comparison, computational cycles for generating any sort of analytics is a far less premium than attorney‘s time.

    Interesting article. I am somewhat surprised, or puzzled, that US eDiscovery efforts are seen as pushing more documents all the way through to the review stage. My preference is to emphasize ECA for clients, and rely on the strong recommendations from Sedona Conference on focusing on proportionality to limit heavy review demands, and perhaps just assumed that was the prevailing attitude. Are Canadian lawyers and clients perhaps a bit more trusting and cooperative?
